My group classes (hybrid - physical and online) are on Wednesdays at 530 pm and Sundays at 1030 am.
LKR Rs 1000 per participant.
In addition to the above, I do custom mini groups of 2-4 for Absolute beginners, progressed beginners and and Intermediates according to the participants requirements and schedule.
Mini group session is lkr Rs 6000 to be spilt amongst the participants.
I left behind a corporate life of nearly 30 years to follow my dream of becoming a Yoga Teacher; but what started off as a Yoga Teacher Training eventually became a journey into the self. In the tranquil setting of the Sri Yoga Shala in Unawatuna, the seed was planted, not just to teach Yoga, but to begin a practice of Self-Inquiry.
Now as a YTT 200hr Yoga Teacher and Chopra Certified Meditation Instructor, I offer Asana, Pranayama and Meditation to Fellow Seekers through 8Limbs Wellness.
The 8 Limbs of Yoga, of which Yoga Asana (postures) is just one, teaches one how to live, how to love, how to go with the ebb and flow of whatever life throws our way and how to quite simply, Rest in Being. It offers the ultimate toolkit to break free of old patterns and attain moments of peace in an ever changing world….and THIS is the Yoga I teach.
I practice Yoga almost every day and have been doing that for the last 15 years. I have a solid Iyengar and Vinyasa practice which allows me to blend movement with precision. When I teach Yoga Asana I emphasize on correct Foundation which is my forte, teaching in a style that is methodical and progressive, emphasizing detailed correctness and safety for the beginner as well as the long-term practitioner.
In addition to Yoga Asana, I teach Conscious Breathing, Relaxation Techniques, Pranayama and Primordial Sound Meditation, an ancient healing practice from the Vedic Traditions of India where I had the privilege of having Deepak Chopra as one of my teachers. At 52, I come armed with a whole lot of life experience and my own journey has drawn hundreds of fellow seekers- mostly women, to my space, where we inspire and empower each other while experiencing the joys of Yoga Asana, Pranayama, Meditation AND Life, together.
